Many years ago, we did a private sale for the former home of Norma Talmadge, the silent movie actress, who was in films from 1910 to the advent of the talkies in 1929-1930. She was married to Joseph Schenck, an early executive MGM New York in 1917 during WWI. Soon after, moving to California, they lived in ‘The Cedars’ or the estate they used in the film ‘Easy Rider’ on Cedarhurst Drive. There were many items there belonging to the couple and we sold them for the owner at the time there some 18 yrs. ago. This home in Los Feliz contains pieces that we sold there.
